My New Year's Top Five - XXIII

Wow. I skipped a whole year doing this. Hahaha ^_^ This was fun! Not in any order :

1. Photography - I took this more seriously last year. With the gift of Lumix from the heavens above ^_^
   
2. Cheesecake ! - my guilty pleasure oh lala... I want to try making one this year!
   
3. Facebook and FB Games - this is both boon and bane of my year. I embrace your presence in my life FB and Pet Society!
4. Mom - I spent a lotta time with my Mom this year. I loved her and hated her LOL... But I conclude... I love her more still ^_^
5. THP - occupied my mind more than I've admitted or will admit (toink) LOL but what can I do? And still yet bewitched, bothered, and bewildered...
   

My Week's Top Five - XXII

I just thought I'd like to add more to my top five lists :-) Just as I've revived one of my favorites... In no particular order...

1. Peanut Butter - I forgot how delicious Lily's peanut butter is!
2. Heroes Season 3 - sandy and me are superfans!
3. DOH-PCSHC - everyday I repeatedly realize choosing DOH for internship was one of the best decisions I made in my life.
4. Tyler's Ultimate - Mr. Florence... you're an insipiration, I want to cook!
5. Delifrance Coffee Bun - just perfect...

my new year's top five XXI

1. aling dolor's sapin-sapin - layers of sumptuous, tasty, traditional kakanins. the best!
2. excellente ham - i especially like the scrap, they're more tasty! (and oily... yikes)
3. my and my lolas' halaya - we're the best hehehe! there's no competetion. ours is the best!
4. ate ruth's leche flan - i miss this... :-(
5. lola gunding's biko - i miss her :-( and her biko... the tradition lives on through tito bong, but it'll never be the same, it's sad she wasn't able to teach me her particular technique and recipe

my week's top five XX

once again revived. now 20th one including my lamitan top five. i hope this tradition carries on.

1. sab - you'd have to be very patient with me hehehe, you'll probably be the only one not a food here as i'm writing from memory... but good enough to eat bwehehehe
2. sinigang na baboy sa sampaloc- sab renewed my love affair with this dish
3. white thumb's egg pie - favorite clerkship merienda (this helped with sab too hahaha)
4. ate eva's sotanghon - my favorite sotanghot, moist, fat, not that many "sahog," don't like sahog ^_^
5. sr. pedro's lechon manok - wow, ma'am korina was right, this is the best commercial lechon manok

as i've predicted... the top five mostly came out as food hahaha. i have to try hard to control my eating, i'm slowly gaining weight again! happy christmas again everyone!

p.s. i'll have to sign in my suffix... figure it out hahaha, personally i'm not affected by this at all, but i'm having fun using it, no offense to the one who invented it, i'm not taking it seriously, i love having a title, so like "megastar" BWAHAHAHAHAHA, i hope this really sticks

My Lamitan Top-Five

in no particular order...

1. pañala - yum yum yum... fried muslim rice-cakes. i'm thinking of trying to replicate them because you can't buy them here in manila sigh...
2. fried talakitok - omg there's nothing better than fresh fish deep fried with delicious rice OMG!
3. auntie lita's caldereta - the BEST caldereta i've ever tasted. it'll be difficult to eat inferior ones now...
4. bulingan falls - very beautiful. it should be declared a world heritage site
5. the alipios of lamitan - very hospitable and warm ^_^

my week's top five XVIII *revived

since it's only on saturdays i can really post something, bear with the sudden vomiting of posts hehehe. my week's top five, revived:

1. pesto - can't get enough of the bottled cheap pest, i eat it almost every other day!
2. peanut butter - kim, me-an, verle, my, and surprisingly... candice's(!) ambrosia, we should create a peanut butter fan club!
3. ma-ling - mmm mmm mmm a living-alone-guy's best friend ^_^ thanks again steff
4. java chip venti (starbucks) - remembered a lot of my neurology last thursday night for the second shifting exam thanks to steff, verle and biel
5. my house - it's not perfect, but i really appreciate it
